Nursing Assistant - Full-time Nights
About The Position
The Nursing Assistant provides care at OhioHealth Rehabilitation Hospital, an inpatient rehabilitation hospital serving people with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputations, and multiple traumas. The role supports patients’ medical and daily care needs in a compassionate rehabilitation setting. The position is full-time on the night shift in Dublin, Ohio, with compensation of $18.05–$22.00 per hour and a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Requirements
- High school diploma/GED or at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Hospital experience as a nursing assistant.
- Nursing assistant certification.
- Experience in a related field, such as medical assistant work or active enrollment as an RN student.
Responsibilities
- Obtain vital signs, height, weight, and demographic data.
- Assist patients with personal and daily care, including bathing, oral hygiene, shaving, and hair care.
- Deliver meals and snacks, feed patients who cannot feed themselves, and document oral intake.
- Safely turn and position immobile patients while maintaining proper body alignment, and participate in the mobility program.
- Transport patients to designated areas, including to and from treatment centers.
