About The Position

The Nursing Assistant provides care to residents in accordance with management’s policies and procedures. The role requires comprehensive knowledge of good resident care practices and focuses on supporting residents’ quality of care and quality of life. The position is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and is listed as full-time with 12-hour shifts.

Requirements

Must have completed an approved training program for Certified Nurse Assistant.
Must have passed competency examinations for Certified Nurse Assistant.
Must have good physical and mental health.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and rotate and assist residents who are partially or totally dependent.

Responsibilities

Work with residents to maintain, improve, or enhance their quality of care and quality of life.
Provide, complete, and document assigned resident care in a timely and accurate manner.
Attend and participate in facility in-service programs.
Use good infection-control techniques in all aspects of resident care.
Report changes in a resident’s condition to the charge nurse.
Respond promptly to resident requests, including call lights.
Respect residents’ rights, including privacy and dignity, while providing care.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff members, and management.
Assist residents with social functions and meals as assigned or indicated in the plan of care.
Perform other duties as needed by residents.
