About The Position

Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a Nursing Assistant for their 2F Step-Down ICU. This is a part-time position (24 hours weekly) with night shifts (7pm-7am) and is benefit-eligible. The Nursing Assistant will function as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse, providing delegated aspects of patient care and performing routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks. The Step-Down ICU (2F) is a 16-bed intermediate level of care unit that cares for patients with septic and respiratory compromise, as well as a variety of other diagnoses. Nursing Assistants on this unit will provide excellent care for a high acuity-based population and have the opportunity to cultivate and expand their skills. Due to its proximity and collaboration with the ICU, 2F is considered a steppingstone for Nursing Assistants to build skills for success in the ICU.

Requirements

• BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
• Previous Nursing Assistant experience required.
• High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required.
