About The Position
Seeking a Nursing Assistant for Baptist Health Floyd, 2BCE Intermediate Part-time (24 Hours Weekly), Days (7am-7pm) Benefit Eligible. Under general supervision and according to established procedures, functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse by providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks. The 2nd floor Intermediate Unit is a 34-bed unit specializing in Progressive Care (PCU) or intermediate nursing. With nurse-to-patient ratios (4:1), our team provides high-quality care to adult patients with complex medical needs. Our unit is composed of both experienced and new graduate nurses; we work as an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient-centric care. Our team continues building our reputation as a unit everyone wants to be a part of because of teamwork, clinical expertise, and a supportive environment.
Requirements
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required
- High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required
