About The Position
Wander Staffing is seeking three (3) Nursing Assistants (NAs) to provide on-site inpatient support to Veterans at the Sheridan VA Medical Center in Sheridan, Wyoming. The VA operates 24/7, and shifts are primarily 12 hours (some units offer 8-hour shifts), potentially including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. The VA may change duty hours with 24 hours' notice to meet patient care needs. This is a W2 position with a 5-year contract, anticipated to start December 1, 2026, pending VA credentialing.
Requirements
- BLS certification
- Minimum six (6) months of direct patient care experience within the last three (3) years
- Negative TB test (TST or IGRA) within the past year (chest x-ray if positive)
- MMR and varicella immunity
- Tdap vaccination
- Annual flu vaccine (or masking)
- Hepatitis B immunity or series started
- Hepatitis C titer
- Able to pass a Tier 2 (Moderate Risk) background investigation and obtain a VA PIV card
- Eligible to work in the U.S. (E-Verify)
- Not listed on the HHS OIG List of Excluded Individuals/Entities
