About The Position
Wander Staffing is seeking three (3) Nursing Assistants (NAs) to provide on-site inpatient support to Veterans at the Sheridan VA Medical Center in Sheridan, Wyoming. This is a W2 position with a 5-year contract, anticipated to start on December 1, 2026, pending VA credentialing. The VA operates 24/7, and shifts are primarily 12 hours, though some units offer 8-hour shifts. These shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, varying by unit. The VA may change duty hours to meet patient care needs with 24 hours' notice.
Requirements
- BLS certification
- Minimum of six (6) months of direct patient care experience within the last three (3) years
- Negative TB test (TST or IGRA) within the past year (chest x-ray if positive)
- MMR and varicella immunity
- Tdap vaccination
- Annual flu vaccine (or masking)
- Hepatitis B immunity or series started
- Hepatitis C titer
- Ability to pass a Tier 2 (Moderate Risk) background investigation and obtain a VA PIV card
- Eligible to work in the U.S. (E-Verify)
- Not listed on the HHS OIG List of Excluded Individuals/Entities
