About The Position

Regency Springdale is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU care to chronically and critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. Nursing Assistants (NAs), also identified as Patient Care Techs (PCTs), provide compassionate patient care in this setting. This per-diem role is based in Springdale, Arkansas, and works 12-hour day shifts. Compensation is $18.00 per hour.

The position includes an extensive orientation program. Employees may demonstrate their skills and dedication for potential full-time opportunities. Part-time and per-diem employees are eligible for a 401(k) after reaching 1,000 hours within their first anniversary or a subsequent calendar year.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, nursing assistant certification, or experience in a related field such as medical assisting.
• BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient services, including bathing with basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to and from treatment centers as needed, and assist transporters with moving patients into and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain the cleanliness of instruments and equipment, including bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
• Keep patients’ rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
