About The Position

Regency Springdale is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. Nursing Assistants play a central role in delivering compassionate care. This per diem position is scheduled for 12-hour day shifts in Springdale, Arkansas, with compensation of $18.00 per hour.

The role includes an extensive orientation program. The employer notes that strong performance may lead to potential full-time opportunities. Part-time and per diem employees may qualify for 401(k) eligibility after reaching 1,000 hours within their first anniversary or a subsequent calendar year.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, nursing assistant certification, or experience in a related field such as medical assisting.
• BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient services including bathing with basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to and from treatment centers as needed, and assist transporters with moving patients into and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain the cleanliness of instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
• Keep patients’ rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
