About The Position

Presbyterian Homes & Services is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join the team at Langton Shores in Roseville, Minnesota. Langton Shores provides skilled nursing care in long-term living neighborhoods and short-term rehabilitation settings. The role focuses on compassionate care for older adults as part of a close-knit team. The listed opening is part-time at 19.5 hours per week, with weekend shifts from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and three weekday evening shifts from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. All core schedules require working every other weekend and holiday rotations. The estimated starting pay range is $22.60–$24.25 per hour. Actual pay depends on individual qualifications and market conditions and may change. Nursing Assistant Certification is required for work in Long Term Care. Caregiving experience is preferred, but applicants without experience will be considered.

Requirements

Nursing Assistant Certification is required to work in Long Term Care.
Demonstrated compatibility with the PHS mission and operating philosophies.
Commitment to work every other weekend and scheduled holidays.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to communicate with all customers.

Responsibilities

Perform activities of daily living as scheduled and assist other Resident Assistants as needed, consistent with regulations and established best practices.
Monitor changes in residents’ conditions.
Transfer residents and assist with mobility using methods such as gait belts and mechanical lifts.
Ensure residents are cared for with dignity.
