About The Position
Munson Healthcare is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide patient care and support clinical staff. Nursing assistants are essential members of the care team, helping patients feel comfortable and supported. Munson Medical Center provides comprehensive, paid orientation and training. The position is full-time on the day shift.
Requirements
- Obtain and maintain CPR certification in adult maneuvers at all times; child and infant maneuvers may be required by some departments.
- May be required to lift more than 35 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic patient care and services that address patients’ personal and comfort needs.
- Complete personal hygiene tasks.
- Collect specimens.
- Assist patients with daily walking and exercise.
- Transport patients between departments.
- Observe, report, and record patients’ vital signs.
