About The Position

The Nursing Assistant works in Cuyuna Regional Medical Center’s Orthopedic, Spine, and Interventional Pain clinic, assisting medical professionals in preparing and handling patients throughout their visits. The role includes escorting patients, performing basic health assessments such as measuring vital signs and conducting EKGs, and preparing patients for examinations or procedures. The position requires careful attention to detail and adherence to protocols to protect patient safety and confidentiality. The Nursing Assistant regularly collaborates with nursing staff and physicians, communicating patient concerns and updates. Duties also include managing clinical supplies, updating medical records, and ensuring equipment is functioning to support clinic workflow.

Requirements

One year of experience providing hands-on patient care.
American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
High school diploma or GED, or placement on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry upon hire.
