About The Position

Southcoast Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant I to provide patient care at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, Massachusetts. Under the general supervision of an individually assigned Manager, Patient Care Services or designee, the Nursing Assistant performs basic care, personal hygiene, mobility, and nutritional support; maintains the patient environment; and assists licensed staff with related duties. This is a per diem position on the day/evening shift, with weekend and holiday rotation.

Requirements

• Education equivalent to completion of four years of high school, plus additional specialized courses or training.
• Nursing Assistant Certification in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19, or qualify for an exemption for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying the choice to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Nice To Haves

• Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Training Program.
• Three months of experience in an acute care or long-term care setting.
