About The Position

The Float Resident Services Associate provides care and service to residents across all Ohio Maplewood communities according to each resident’s individual service plan. The role requires flexibility to travel between Ohio communities and deliver consistent, high-quality care. The home community is in Twinsburg, Ohio, with travel to Chardon and Cuyahoga Falls as needed; mileage is reimbursed. Maplewood Senior Living is a senior living provider offering residents a home-like, luxury environment. The position is part of the Resident Care department and involves helping residents with daily care, engaging them in conversation and activities, collaborating with the nursing team, and maintaining clean, tidy, and safe surroundings.

Requirements

Experience and passion in working with seniors.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as pushing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers, and other staff members.
Good physical and emotional health and freedom from communicable diseases.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with care needs, including bathing, dressing, continence care, dining, and mobility support.
Engage residents through interaction and conversation, programs, and activities.
Work with the nursing team to ensure residents’ care needs are met.
Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment and assist with maintaining resident rooms.
Travel between Ohio Maplewood communities as needed to provide resident care and service.
