About The Position
Milaca Elim Meadows, a Cassia senior community, is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents. Nurses administer medications and collaborate with a dedicated team to support the best possible resident outcomes. The role is on-call and located at Milaca Elim Meadows in Milaca, Minnesota. The community has 70 long-term care beds and 12 rehabilitation beds. Requirements
- Hold a current Minnesota RN or LPN license.
- Have strong communication and organizational skills.
- Be a self-starter with a desire to be part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- CPR/BLS certification is preferred, or the candidate must be willing to obtain it.
Responsibilities
- Show a courteous attitude and respect for residents, families, and staff.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders, and monitor their effectiveness and resident response.
- Manage medications, supplies, and equipment, including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of them according to policies and procedures.
- Document care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
- Notify the Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident’s condition, and take follow-up action as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as required.
