BAYADA’s Nurse Residency Program is an exclusive, paid program for recent nursing graduates who have passed the NCLEX and hold U.S. nursing licensure. It is described as the only paid new graduate residency program in home care accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (ANCC). Nurse Residents provide one-on-one nursing care to clients of all ages, diagnoses, and acuity levels in their homes. The program includes six weeks of training, paid training and shadowing, and access to adult and pediatric simulation labs. After training, residents have flexible scheduling and are matched with cases near their homes. Electronic charting is performed using Statewise, and clinical support is available by phone around the clock. Pay is $27–$29 per hour for day shifts and $28–$30 per hour for evening or overnight shifts. BAYADA describes its care philosophy as helping clients receive care at home, where they most want to be.
