About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurses (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to provide care at its 100-bed residential facility in Prince Frederick, Maryland. The facility offers drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation services in a structured medical environment.

Nurses provide medical care throughout each client's admission, treatment, and discharge; coordinate pharmacy and prescription needs; dispense medication; and maintain medication logs and medical documentation. They collaborate with medical, clinical, and utilization review teams and provide patient education in individual and group settings.

Requirements

• Current RN or LPN licensure to practice in Maryland, or compact licensure with multistate privileges.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and efficient, with the ability to multitask.
• Compassionate, dignified character that models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment, and discharge.
• Coordinate pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and maintain clear medication logs.
• Collaborate with medical, clinical, and utilization review teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain medical documentation, tracking, and reporting for each client.
• Provide patient education in individual and group settings.
