Nurse Technician - Medical 4 (PRN Nights)
About The Position
At Mercy Hospital Fort Smith, the Nurse Technician assists in providing compassionate, individualized patient care under the supervision of an RN or LPN. The role performs clinical procedures and support tasks that directly impact patient outcomes while offering opportunities to learn from experienced professionals and gain hands-on clinical experience. Opportunities are available across multiple care areas, with flexible scheduling designed to fit school commitments. The position is PRN nights, and evening and night shift differentials are available. The role is intended for people currently studying nursing who have completed Fundamentals of Nursing. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program.
- Completed Fundamentals of Nursing; transcripts and a competency list are required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required within one month of hire.
- Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs regularly.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Ability to bend, kneel, twist, and squat.
