Nurse Technician - Medical 4 (PRN Days)
About The Position
Under the supervision of an RN or LPN, the Nurse Technician assists in providing compassionate, individualized care to patients. The role performs clinical procedures and support tasks that directly impact patient outcomes while providing opportunities to learn from experienced professionals. This position is at Mercy Hospital Fort Smith and offers clinical experience for people studying nursing. The program offers a flat rate of $18.00 per hour, flexible scheduling designed to fit school commitments, and full-time, part-time, and PRN work options. Shift differentials are available for evenings and nights. Team members may be eligible for Scholar Loan and tuition reimbursement support. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program.
- Completed Fundamentals of Nursing; transcripts and a competency list are required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required within one month of hire.
- Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Ability to bend, kneel, twist, and squat.
