About The Position

Under the direction of an RN or LPN, the Nurse Tech assists with individualized patient care to help patients achieve their highest level of wellness. The role works cooperatively with others as part of a team, recognizing the importance of group goals, and performs designated clinical procedures and nonclinical support tasks essential to patient care. This is a PRN, as-needed position in the ICU at Mercy Hospital - W Memorial Rd.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Enrollment in an approved or accredited nursing program; this position is for nursing students only.
• Provide student transcripts before employment showing completion of Fundamentals of Nursing at an accredited school of nursing.
• Remain in good standing with the nursing school while employed as a Nurse Tech; leaving the program for any reason means the individual can no longer work as a Nurse Tech.
• BLS certification required within one month of hire.
