About The Position
Odessa Regional Medical Center is seeking a Monitor Tech for the ICU. The role examines heartbeat patterns on electrocardiograph monitors, notes irregular rhythms, monitors changes in heartbeat, and ensures monitors are functioning properly. The position relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performs a variety of tasks, and works under general supervision. It typically reports to a supervisor or manager. This is a PRN night-shift position, with scheduled hours of 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the field.
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree preferred.
