About The Position
The Nurse Supervisor oversees staff and patient care in accordance with standards of care and practice and applicable state and federal regulations. The supervisor follows facility policies and procedures while providing and coordinating resident care with other facility personnel. The position is a weekend role with a stated schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. at Aviata at Brentwood in Lecanto, Florida.
Requirements
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an RN.
- Must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation facilities is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supervise staff and oversee patient care in accordance with standards of care and practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Follow facility policies and procedures while providing and coordinating resident care with other facility personnel.
- Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants during the shift, including assigning and distributing work, managing performance, training new staff, and ensuring work meets facility standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
