About The Position

BAYADA’s Nurse Residency Program is an accredited, paid home-care residency program for nursing graduates who have scheduled or passed the NCLEX in the United States. Nurse residents provide one-on-one nursing care to clients of all ages, diagnoses, and acuity levels, with opportunities to explore interests and develop new skills. The role includes a six-week training program, paid training and shadowing, and flexible scheduling after training. Nurses use Statewise electronic charting and have around-the-clock clinical support by phone. BAYADA matches residents with cases near their homes to help keep commutes short.

Requirements

• Hold a current, valid nursing license in the United States.
• Have graduated from a qualified nursing program.
• Have CPR in good standing.
• Have a scheduled or passed NCLEX in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one nursing care to clients in their homes.
• Deliver care to clients of varying ages, diagnoses, and acuity levels.
• Use Statewise electronic charting.
• Participate in the six-week training program, including paid training and shadowing.
