About The Position

BAYADA’s Nurse Residency Program is a paid home-care residency for nursing graduates with a scheduled or passed NCLEX in the United States. The program is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Residents provide one-on-one nursing care to people of all ages and with varied diagnoses and acuity levels, with opportunities to explore interests and develop new skills. The role includes six weeks of training, paid training and shadowing, electronic charting using Statewise, and around-the-clock clinical support by phone. BAYADA offers flexible scheduling after the training program and matches cases near residents’ homes to help keep commute times short.

Requirements

• Current valid nursing license in the United States.
• Graduation from a qualified nursing program.
• CPR certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one nursing care to clients in their homes.
