Residency Program - New Nurse Graduates
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care offers a paid Nurse Residency Program for nursing graduates who have scheduled or passed the NCLEX in the United States. The program is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (ANCC) and is designed for new graduate nurses entering home care. Residents receive a six-week training program followed by flexible scheduling, and provide one-on-one care to clients of all ages, diagnoses, and acuity levels. BAYADA provides electronic charting through Statewise, paid training and shadowing, simulation labs, nearby case matching, and around-the-clock clinical support by phone. The position also offers an opportunity to explore nursing interests and develop new skills in home health care.
Requirements
- Graduation from a qualified nursing program.
- Current valid nursing license in the United States.
- CPR certification in good standing.
- Scheduled or passed the NCLEX in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one nursing care to clients.
- Deliver home health care to people of all ages, diagnoses, and acuity levels.
- Complete electronic charting using Statewise.
