About The Position
Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is seeking an experienced Nurse Recruiter for a temporary, remote position. VUMC is a leading academic medical center dedicated to patient care, education, and research. This role involves achieving staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates, providing excellent service to hiring managers and candidates through sourcing and selection. The position requires analyzing open position requirements, building candidate pipelines, sourcing and pre-screening applicants, and coordinating compensation efforts. Responsibilities
- Analyzes the requirements of the open position in collaboration with the hiring manager and HR colleagues.
- Builds pipelines of prospective candidates through professional networks, targeted outreach and recruitment events.
- Sources and pre-screens applicants to identify the best candidates for hiring manager review.
- Coordinates the compensation efforts between the Compensation department and the hiring manager.
- Leverages Talent Operations key metrics and collaborates with HR colleagues on issues.
