About The Position

CCHC is seeking a recruiter to join an established team of three recruiters, working within a highly collaborative HR department to support our talent acquisition needs on a temporary basis. Under the supervision of the Senior HR Recruiter, the Recruiter Assistant is responsible for carrying out several tasks in the HR department such as hiring, recruiting, maintaining employee files, etc.

Requirements

Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook.
Must have excellent vocabulary, grammar and spelling aptitude.
1 year of prior recruitment experience is required.

Nice To Haves

Associates degree is preferred.
Prior experience in HR and/or healthcare is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Maintains department office area in an organized and professional manner including supplies and equipment.
Assist with scheduling applicants interviews and testing.
Coordinates the pre-employment onboarding of new hires, i.e., health screening appointments, HR paperwork, employee verifications, and credentialing paperwork packet.
Creates new hire personnel/medical files.
Provides administrative support in the preparation of correspondence, reports, schedules, confidential materials and various employee issues.
Maintains application tracking system.
Answers the telephone in a professional manner and assists internal/external customers with any questions, directions to the property, etc.
Assists with recruitment, initial phone screenings, interviewing, and selection processes and sends appropriate correspondence to all applicants in a timely manner.
Provides administrative support to the HR department.
Preps new hire orientation programs/trainings.
Works closely with all employees to ensure a positive work environment.
Maintains a daily log of important information to share with the department.
Performs miscellaneous job duties as assigned.
