Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing Required
5 years of professional clinical experience Required
RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Upon Hire Required

Nice To Haves

Previous training and/or precepting experience Preferred
One specialized professional certification Preferred

Responsibilities

Provides oversight and implementation of several robust academic and professional development programs at Piedmont Columbus Regional.
Functions as the facilitator of programs aimed at the development and retention of nurses, including but not limited to, the facilitation of student nursing apprenticeships, maintaining records and scheduling of student nurses, and facilitating the Clinical Ladder program.
Serves a key role in professional recognition for experienced nurses and the attraction of new talent to the organization.
Will be an experienced, competent nursing professional who serves as a resource and liaison between our organization and our academic partners.
Works closely with nursing leadership on overall recruitment and retention initiatives in concert with local strategic goals, initiatives.
