About The Position
This is an ongoing per diem role for a Nurse Practitioner to conduct disability evaluations for veterans. The exams are one-time evaluations, not ongoing care, and do not involve treatment, prescription, or patient management afterward. Veterans will come to your own office for their exams. No clinic space is provided. Exams are booked during business hours, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state where you will work
- Board certification
- NPI number
- Current ACLS and BLS
- Active DEA
- Your own office within 20 miles of Pascagoula, MS
- CV in month and year format
- Must live within daily commute range of Pascagoula, MS
Responsibilities
- Examine veterans and record findings on standard disability evaluation forms.
- Conduct one-time evaluations for disability claims.
