About The Position

CVS Health’s MinuteClinic is hiring a clinic-based float provider to support clinics in the Chattanooga market. The role delivers high-quality, in-person primary and family care, with virtual visits conducted from the clinic when onsite patient volume is lower and virtual care does not delay or interfere with in-person care. Providers practice with clinical team support, collaborative resources, evidence-based guidelines, and assessment and treatment planning tools. The position is part of a full-time role and includes a comprehensive benefits package, subject to eligibility. The role may be filled by a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate. Nurse Practitioners need a master’s degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program, national board certification through AANP or ANCC, and an active, unrestricted state APRN license. Physician Associates need to have graduated from an ARC-PA-accredited program, hold current NCCPA certification, and have an active, unrestricted state license or eligibility to obtain one upon hire. Degree requirements for Physician Associates vary according to program matriculation date. Providers deliver acute and chronic care, preventive services, diagnostic testing, counseling, and care coordination. They also perform clinic operations such as inventory management, opening and closing the clinic, patient follow-up, insurance verification, and payment collection. Physical presence at the assigned clinic is required. The posting describes an every-other-weekend schedule and notes that the role supports Chattanooga clinics. The typical pay range is $37.66–$81.11 per hour or the applicable full-time salary equivalent, depending on factors such as experience, education, and geography. The role may also be eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, retirement savings options, wellness programs, and other resources, based on eligibility.
