About The Position
This is a per diem role for a Nurse Practitioner to conduct disability evaluations for veterans. Veterans will come to your own office for their exams. You will examine veterans and record findings on standard disability evaluation forms. These are one-time evaluations, not ongoing care, and you will not treat, prescribe, or manage patients afterward. Exams are booked during business hours, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state where you will work
- Board certification
- NPI number
- Current ACLS and BLS
- Active DEA
- Own office within 25 miles of Prairie du Chien, WI
- CV in month and year format
Responsibilities
- Examine veterans and record findings on standard disability evaluation forms.
- Conduct one-time evaluations for disability claims.
- Work independently in your own office.
