About The Position
This is a per diem role for a Nurse Practitioner to conduct disability evaluations for veterans. Veterans will come to your own office for their exams. You will examine veterans and record findings on standard disability evaluation forms. Each exam is a one-time evaluation, not ongoing care, and you will not treat, prescribe, or manage patients afterward. Exams are booked during business hours, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Candidates must live within daily commute range of Peru, IL, and must have their own office within 50 miles of Peru, IL. No clinic space is provided.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state where you will work
- Board certification
- NPI number
- Current ACLS and BLS
- Active DEA
- Own office within 50 miles of Peru, IL
- CV in month and year format
- Live within daily commute range of Peru, IL
Responsibilities
