Its programs aim to exceed clinical standards in wound healing while delivering care efficiently, reduce wound-related hospitalizations, and improve outcomes for residents and patients. The Nurse Practitioner will contribute to patient care by assessing wounds, developing and adjusting treatment plans, collaborating with healthcare professionals, documenting care, and educating patients and families.
Requirements
- Active license in the state of employment.
- At least 1 year of experience in wound care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional critical-thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time-management and organizational abilities.
- Comfort with technology and electronic medical records.
Responsibilities
- Conduct wound assessments and provide personalized treatment plans for patients.
- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Educate patients and their families on wound care, prevention, and management.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
