About The Position

Felix is seeking Nurse Practitioners with strong generalist experience and a passion for weight management to join its growing team of healthcare providers. The role requires a minimum commitment of 20 scheduled hours per week on the platform. Candidates must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in at least one Canadian province; preference is given to those with multiple licences or licensing that meets Felix’s current needs.

The position is 100% remote and involves providing virtual healthcare through Felix’s platform. Providers have access to clinical and engineering support, as well as opportunities to connect and learn from physicians working in weight loss, menopause, and virtual care. The platform is designed to be secure and comply with applicable health information privacy regulations.

Compensation includes a base weekly rate, with additional assessment remuneration tied to services delivered above a defined threshold. Felix states its commitment to an inclusive team culture and provides accommodations during any stage of recruitment.

Requirements

• Be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in at least one province in Canada.
• Have at least 2 years of Nurse Practitioner experience.
• Have demonstrated experience providing patients with the best possible care.
• Have direct experience treating and managing obesity.
• Be physically located in Canada.
• Hold a billing number in the province or provinces where licensed, required for ordering laboratory testing.
• Be a member in good standing of the College or Colleges where holding the Nurse Practitioner title.
• Maintain eligibility and willingness to become licensed in other provinces.
• Be available to provide a minimum of 20 scheduled hours per week on the platform.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow the code of conduct of the governing body in the applicable province or territory.
• Have experience in telemedicine.
• Have a proficient understanding of technology, EMRs, and remote work.
• Be adaptable and open to change.

Nice To Haves

• Licensure in multiple provinces or licensure that meets Felix’s current needs.
• Additional experience in weight loss, menopause, mental health, erectile dysfunction, or birth control care.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual healthcare through the Felix platform for at least 20 scheduled hours per week.
• Provide patient care, including treating and managing obesity.
• Order laboratory testing using a billing number in the province or provinces where licensed.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow the applicable provincial or territorial professional code of conduct.
