About The Position

GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking progressive and entrepreneurial per diem Nurse Practitioners with pediatric experience to work in its Pediatric centers in Elwood, Hewlett, and Lake Success. The role is part of GoHealth Urgent Care’s partnership with Northwell Health, which operates a network of urgent care centers throughout the New York City metro area and Long Island.

GoHealth Urgent Care describes its centers as patient-friendly, state-of-the-art facilities equipped with imaging, labs, and an advanced ECW EMR. Nurse Practitioners have autonomy with mentoring and support, assistance from on-site Radiologic Technologists and Medical Assistants, flexible scheduling options, and the option to rotate among locations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of full-time experience in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting.
• Pediatric experience.
• Experience treating patients of all ages, from 6 months and older.
• Comfort with minor procedures, including sutures and splints.
• Comfort providing overview readings of EKGs and X-rays.
