About The Position

We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to work autonomously throughout Idaho. This mobile role involves visiting patients at various locations, with up to 50% of the time spent working remotely from home. The position focuses on improving the quality of patient management and satisfaction, promoting cost-effectiveness, and increasing the effectiveness of efforts to address healthcare disparities. The practice specializes in engaging and caring for medically complex patients, with care centered on each patient’s perspective.

The Nurse Practitioner delivers patient care within their specialty through assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, recognition and prevention of adverse events, planning, and implementation. The role also includes responsibilities as a clinician, teacher, leader, and professional, along with providing leadership at the practice location. The Nurse Practitioner provides treatment for less urgent acute conditions, manages chronic conditions, and coordinates care. Practice must be consistent with Idaho law.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Hold an unencumbered State of Idaho license.
• Function consistently with Idaho law.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care within the area of specialty through assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, recognition and prevention of adverse events, planning, and implementation.
• Perform responsibilities in the areas of clinical practice, teaching, leadership, and professional development.
• Provide leadership at the practice location.
• Treat less urgent acute conditions.
• Manage chronic conditions and provide care coordination.
• Visit patients at various locations throughout Idaho.
