About The Position

We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to work autonomously throughout the Idaho area. The role is mobile and involves visiting patients at various locations, with up to 50% of the time spent working remotely from home. The position focuses on improving the quality of patient management and satisfaction, promoting cost-effectiveness, and increasing the effectiveness of efforts to address healthcare disparities. The organization specializes in caring for medically complex patients and seeks empathetic providers who approach care from the patient’s perspective.

The Nurse Practitioner delivers care in their area of specialty through assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, recognition and prevention of adverse events, planning, and implementation. The role includes clinical, teaching, leadership, and professional-development responsibilities, as well as providing leadership at the practice location. NPs must function consistently with Idaho law and provide treatment for less urgent acute conditions, manage chronic conditions, and coordinate care.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Hold an unencumbered State of Idaho license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in the area of specialty through assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, recognition and prevention of adverse events, planning, and implementation.
• Perform responsibilities in the areas of clinician, teacher, leadership, and professional development.
• Provide leadership in the practice location.
• Function consistently with Idaho law.
• Treat less urgent acute conditions, manage chronic conditions, and provide care coordination.
