About The Position

ADHDAdvisor.org is seeking Iowa-licensed Nurse Practitioners to join their provider network. The organization aims to eliminate barriers to ADHD diagnosis and treatment, making mental healthcare more accessible through their telehealth platform, receptive.com. This platform integrates technology, clinical expertise, and progressive approaches to emotional wellness. They are looking for Nurse Practitioners who can diagnose and prescribe independently and possess an Iowa DEA license. The ideal candidates are those seeking an all-in-one technology platform for telehealth, experienced in prescribing stimulant and non-stimulant medication in compliance with laws, and wish to focus solely on clinical work while the company handles client acquisition, billing, support, and operations.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted license in Iowa (required).
• Active Iowa DEA license (required).
• Currently carry (or be willing to obtain) independent malpractice liability insurance.
• Experience diagnosing and treating adult ADHD (ages 18+).
• Experience prescribing medication, preferably on a telehealth platform.
• A private and professional environment for conducting sessions.
• Excellent written communication.
• Reliable Internet connection.
• Currently residing in the US.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic mental healthcare to your patients including diagnostic and medication management.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to your patient's needs and follow the best practices and clinical guidelines.
• Collaborate with our team of mental health professionals to ensure that your patients receive comprehensive, coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records following legal and ethical standards.
• Help shape our treatment philosophy and contribute to developing clinical policies and procedures.
