Nurse Practitioner - ADHD Diagnosis and Treatment (Connecticut)
About The Position
ADHDAdvisor.org is dedicated to breaking down traditional barriers to ADHD diagnosis and treatment, aiming to make mental healthcare more accessible. Our telehealth platform, http://receptive.com/, combines technology, clinical expertise, and innovative approaches to emotional well-being. We are seeking licensed Nurse Practitioners in Connecticut to join our provider network. This role allows you to concentrate on clinical practice while we manage all other aspects of the operation. The ideal candidate must be capable of independent diagnosis and prescription, holding a Connecticut license and DEA.
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted license in Connecticut.
- Active Connecticut DEA license.
- Currently possess or be willing to obtain independent malpractice liability insurance.
- Experience diagnosing and treating adult ADHD (ages 18+).
- Experience prescribing medication, preferably on a telehealth platform.
- Access to a private and professional environment for conducting sessions.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Reliable Internet connection.
- Currently residing in the US.
- Ability to diagnose and prescribe independently.
Nice To Haves
- Experience prescribing stimulant and non-stimulant medication in accordance with federal and state laws.
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic mental healthcare, including diagnosis and medication management.
