About The Position

ADHDAdvisor.org is dedicated to breaking down traditional barriers to ADHD diagnosis and treatment, aiming to make mental healthcare more accessible to everyone, regardless of their location. Our telehealth platform, Receptive, was established to merge technology, clinical expertise, and innovative approaches to emotional well-being. We are seeking Iowa-licensed Nurse Practitioners to join our provider network. In this role, you will concentrate on your clinical expertise while we manage all other aspects of the practice. Nurse Practitioners must be capable of independent diagnosis and prescription, and an Iowa DEA license is mandatory.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted license in Iowa.
• Active Iowa DEA license.
• Currently carry (or be willing to obtain) independent malpractice liability insurance.
• Experience diagnosing and treating adult ADHD (ages 18+).
• Experience prescribing medication, preferably on a telehealth platform.
• Access to a private and professional environment for conducting sessions.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Reliable Internet connection.
• Currently residing in the US.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic mental healthcare to patients, including diagnosis and medication management.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to patient needs, adhering to best practices and clinical guidelines.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Contribute to shaping the treatment philosophy and developing clinical policies and procedures.
