About The Position

Optum is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join its team in Redlands, California. The role is part of Optum Care Delivery and focuses on patient-centered outpatient primary care, including office consultations, annual visits, follow-up appointments, and in-office procedures. The position uses a team-based care model in which physicians and advanced practice clinicians work together with support staff. A medical assistant supports the physician with patient rooming, vital signs, prescription refills, and follow-up appointments. The clinic schedule is Monday through Friday, with 40 minutes allocated for consultations and 20 minutes for follow-up appointments. The average patient volume is 17 per day. There is no call time. The role includes access to clinical resources, data, a collaborative environment, and the DAX AI Scribe. Requirements

Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, or ability to attain certification before starting.
Unrestricted California medical license, or ability to attain one before starting.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Current California DEA certificate, or ability to attain one before starting.
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
Demonstrated excellent communication skills and time management.
