About The Position

Marathon Health is hiring a PRN Family Nurse Practitioner to provide relationship-based, personalized primary care. Providers practice at the top of their license and offer comprehensive care, including prevention, chronic disease management, urgent visits, and health education. The role emphasizes smaller patient panels, longer appointments of 20 to 60 minutes, prevention and wellness, and fewer administrative and insurance-related tasks. Success is measured by health outcomes rather than patient volume and billing.

Providers work autonomously and have access to resources such as UpToDate and RubiconMD at no charge to them or their patients. The hourly pay range is $55.00–$72.00; the actual offer may vary based on geographic location, years of experience, and skill level.

Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner license.
• Current ANCC or AANP board certification.
• CPR/BLS certification required by the start date.

Nice To Haves

• Independent practice provider status, where applicable under state regulation.
• Federal DEA number; it may be required for full prescribing ability.
• Independent family practice experience, including routine wellness care, chronic care management, and urgent visits.
