About The Position

Our Oncology Team is growing. Through patient and family centered care, MercyOne Genesis Cancer Care provides team-based collaborative care and treatment, close to home. We offer a Full-time employed opportunity with services primarily based in Davenport, Iowa, with the opportunity to provide coverage at our Clinton and Silvis clinics as needed. The MercyOne Genesis Cancer Care, accredited by the NAPBC, the NQMBC, the CoC and the ACOS, is seeking an additional Oncology experienced APP to join our team of 4 Physicians, 2 Nurse Practitioners and experienced clinical/non-clinical staff. MercyOne Genesis Cancer Care offers a full range of innovative treatments, technology and educational resources. We offer collaborative services for our patients such as; radiation oncology, infusion resources, genetic testing, surgical intervention (including robotics) clinical trials, tumor boards, dieticians, and cancer navigators. We are a community-based hospital program; locally operated with clinics in Davenport and Clinton, Iowa and Silvis, Illinois.

Requirements

Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner
Ability to obtain and maintain an unrestricted license to practice in both Iowa and Illinois
Current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications consistent with scope of practice
Must be eligible to work in the United States (H-1B cap-exempt sponsorship available)

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 1 year of oncology experience as a Nurse Practitioner
Alternative qualification: Minimum of 3 years of oncology RN experience with current Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN®) certification
