About The Position

The Nurse Practitioner acts as a collaborative member of the clinic team, providing continuity and quality patient care. The role works interdependently with physicians and other healthcare team members to provide preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic, maintenance, and rehabilitative healthcare. The Nurse Practitioner also participates independently in delivering optimal patient care within the scope of authority granted by the Alabama State Board of Medical Examiners.

Requirements

• Accreditation by a Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current Alabama license.
• CPR and first-aid certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to emergency situations.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a physician office setting is preferred but not required.
