About The Position

This is a per diem position for a Nurse Practitioner to conduct one-time disability evaluations for veterans. The role involves examining veterans and completing standard disability evaluation forms. This is not an ongoing care position, and the Nurse Practitioner will not be treating, prescribing, or managing patients afterward. The work is performed on-site at an established clinic in Elizabethtown, KY, and the Nurse Practitioner will not have their own dedicated office. Clinic hours are 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state where you will work
• Board certification
• NPI number
• Current ACLS and BLS
• Active DEA
• A home address within 15 miles of Elizabethtown, KY
• CV in month and year format

Responsibilities

• Examine veterans and record findings on standard disability evaluation forms.
• Conduct one-time evaluations, not ongoing care.
• Work out of an established clinic in Elizabethtown, KY and see veterans on site.
