About The Position
This is a per diem position for a Nurse Practitioner to conduct one-time disability evaluations for veterans. The role involves examining veterans on-site at an established clinic in Morehead, KY, and recording findings on standard disability evaluation forms. This is not an ongoing care role, meaning you will not treat, prescribe, or manage patients afterward. The clinic hours are 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state where you will work.
- Board certification.
- NPI number.
- Current ACLS and BLS.
- Active DEA.
- A home address within 15 miles of Morehead, KY.
- CV in month and year format.
Responsibilities
- Examine veterans and record findings on standard disability evaluation forms.
- Conduct one-time evaluations, not ongoing care.
- Work out of an established clinic in Morehead, KY and see veterans on site.
