About The Position

This is a per diem role for a Nurse Practitioner to conduct disability evaluations for veterans. The exams are one-time evaluations, and the Nurse Practitioner will not be treating, prescribing, or managing patients afterward. Exams are booked during business hours (8:00 AM to 6:00 PM). The Nurse Practitioner is required to have their own office space within 15 miles of Greenville, SC, as veterans will come to this office for their exams. No clinic space is provided.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state where you will work
• Board certification
• NPI number
• Current ACLS and BLS
• Active DEA
• Your own office within 15 miles of Greenville, SC
• CV in month and year format

Responsibilities

• Examine veterans and record findings on standard disability evaluation forms.
• Conduct one-time evaluations, not ongoing care.
• Work from your own office within 15 miles of Greenville, SC.
