Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner for their Scranton, PA location. Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner with an active, unrestricted licensure and authorized to practice in the state of practice.
- Primary specialty in one of the following: Family Medicine/Family Practice, Internal Medicine, General Practice, Psychiatry.
- DEA Certificate of Registration in the state of practice with ability to schedule 2, 2N, 3, 4, & 5.
- Must have or be eligible for enrollment for Medicaid and Medicare credentials.
- Additional education or certification may be required depending on state of practice.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in addiction medicine, preferably with experience treating patients with opioid use disorder (OUD) and/or providing medication for opioid use disorder.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder in outpatient clinic settings.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments as indicated by patient assessment.
- Complete medical documentation per Crossroads standards.
- Collaborate with clinic staff to provide holistic care to patients, including referrals to other medical providers and community services.
- Perform injections.
