About The Position

Integrated Wound Care is seeking a compassionate, skilled Nurse Practitioner for a part-time opportunity focused on wound care. The company develops and provides wound care services to skilled nursing, long-term care, and rehabilitation facilities. Its programs aim to exceed clinical standards in wound healing while delivering care efficiently, reducing wound-related hospitalizations, and improving outcomes for residents and patients. In this role, the Nurse Practitioner will assess wounds, develop personalized treatment plans, collaborate with healthcare professionals, document care, educate patients and families, and monitor progress.

Requirements

Active license in the state of employment.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in wound care.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Exceptional critical-thinking and decision-making skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong time-management and organizational abilities.
Comfort with technology and electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

Conduct wound assessments and provide personalized treatment plans for patients.
Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Educate patients and their families on wound care, prevention, and management.
