About The Position
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) specializing in Neurointerventional Surgery for a locum position. This role involves providing coverage for 3 shifts per week until a permanent hire is secured. The position is hospital-based and focuses on inpatient care for adult and geriatric patients. Key responsibilities include participating in code stroke response and managing post-procedure care for patients undergoing neurointerventional surgeries. The EMR system used is EPIC.
Requirements
- Board Certified by the AANP
- Current certifications in ACLS and BLS
- Proven neurocritical care nursing experience
- Must have a clean background with no history of malpractice or licensing issues
- Active license in Virginia
Nice To Haves
- Virginia state license
