About The Position

West Coast Wound & Skin Care is a full-service mobile wound care company providing treatment to patients in their homes and skilled nursing facilities. The organization emphasizes high-quality, whole-patient care, responsive communication with partner agencies, and training and continuing education for its medical team. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant provides mobile advanced wound care to patients in a designated local territory. This position serves patients throughout the Las Vegas area, with visits in patients’ homes or skilled nursing facilities. Candidates must live in Las Vegas, Nevada, hold an active Nevada NP or PA license, and be willing and able to drive to patient locations. The role is not remote. No prior experience is required; extensive training and 24/7 support are provided.

Requirements

Current Nevada state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
CPR certification.
Effective communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license and at least the state-required liability auto insurance.
Must live in Las Vegas, Nevada, and be willing and able to drive locally to patient homes; local travel is required.

Responsibilities

Select, order, and perform tests and procedures to best treat patients.
Perform wound care procedures as appropriate for each patient’s plan of care.
Define and document patient diagnoses.
Ensure patients are satisfied with their care.
Provide patient education and management.
Safely debride wounds using various methods during patient visits.
Apply topical wound care and other wound management products.
Document findings and treatment courses in patient charts, including follow-up notes.
